Rachel Sillett

Rachel moved to Australia in 1998 to set up an Asian Pacific Headquarters for an UK company. As Managing Director of the company, she built the business to attain market leadership position within Australasia and the Asia-Pacific region. The role involved extensive work in Asia and Rachel has been instrumental in setting up distributors in several countries, including Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan and Malaysia.  Rachel was also an active member of the Board, adding value from a strategic and marketing perspective and ensuring the direction was in line with the parent company.

Rachel has over 20 years’ experience in the telecommunications and computer telephony industry. She was the first women engineer in a global telecommunications and computer technology company, working alongside 60 other engineers, and she went on to become the first female director and the youngest director in the company with over 3,000 employees worldwide.

Her management and business skills are remarkable and encompass project management, sales, marketing, leadership, business development, and coaching and mentoring.  In addition, Rachel has developed and facilitated training and strategic planning programs, with internal and external customers and has recently successfully developed and facilitated a strategic planning workshop for the board of a major training organisation.

Through her commitment to enable others to reach their true potential Rachel has coached both executives and business owners and she also volunteers her time to mentor a number of women in small business. In her coaching role, Rachel works with both individuals and couples to develop alignment and synergy to their life plan.

A charismatic presenter and facilitator, Rachel’s key strengths are her passion, enthusiasm, courage and determination and her remarkable ability to support people to gain great insights through asking the right questions.
